Mikio Kawakami vs Satoru Kusumoto

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Tokyo International Forum, Tokyo,  taking place on 07/05/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky-A Sports, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Mikio Kawakami (2 - 0) who hails from Sagamihara, Japan and Satoru Kusumoto(8 - 4 - 4) from Fukuoka, Japan.  Kawakami weighed in at 147 pounds, while Kusumoto weighed in at 146 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Hisoka Enomoto, and the three ringside judges are Yutaka Hirayama, Satoshi Fuse and Kyo Tsutsumi.
