Boxing Daily Report from the African Fusion promoted show at Gold Reef Entertainment Centre, Johannesburg,  taking place on 01/05/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Rex Makwarimba (8 - 0) who hails from Chitungwiza, Zimbabwe and Sam Van der Sandt(8 - 4) from Durban, South Africa.  Makwarimba weighed in at 129 pounds and 14 ounces, while Van der Sandt weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vuyisile Sekola, and the three ringside judges are Michael Grobbelaar, Fraser Mulder and John Masina.
