Boxing Daily Report from the Frank Smith’s Tea Boy Promotions promoted show at Frank Gym, Manchester,  taking place on 20/04/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are John Gatti (7 - 0) who hails from Leicester, UK and Mike Sorden(1 - 3) from Cardiff, UK.  Gatti weighed in at 134 pounds and 11 ounces, while Sorden weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Roger Tinkler, and the three ringside judges are Ian Lowery, Adam Ouimet and Nick Monahan.  

Round 1: 

Gatti steps inside and hits home with a left uppercut.

Sorden quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Gatti lands a right hook to the body, a left uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Sorden hits home with a cross.  
Gatti lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Gatti attempts to land a right hook, but Sorden parries the shot and counters with a cross.
