Luis Pavon vs Lieken Valcke

Boxing Daily Report from the Frank Smith’s Tea Boy Promotions promoted show at Frank Gym, Manchester,  taking place on 20/04/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Luis Pavon (7 - 0) who hails from Mexico City, Mexico and Lieken Valcke(3 - 7 - 2) from Eindhoven, Netherlands.  Both Pavon and Valcke weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Roger Tinkler, and the three ringside judges are Ian Lowery, Adam Ouimet and Nick Monahan.  

Round 1: 

Valcke closes the distance.  Pavon quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Valcke walks Pavon down, trapping him in a corner.  Valcke tries to land a right uppercut, but Pavon parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Valcke advances into close range.  Pavon tries to land a left hook, but Valcke parries the shot and counters with a cross.
