Aki Ishii vs Yutaka Matsumoto

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Osaka promoted show at Hitoshi Ito Gym, Osaka,  taking place on 23/04/2025:

Clearly AI Japan-Osaka have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Osaka Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Aki Ishii (7 - 5 - 2) who hails from Osaka, Japan and Yutaka Matsumoto(4 - 2) from Osaka, Japan.  Ishii weighed in at 107 pounds and 8 ounces, while Matsumoto weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mitsuru Kanai, and the three ringside judges are Naoki Koyama, Kazuhiko Tsutsumi and Kazuhiko Matsunaga.
