William Shirah vs John Shortt

Boxing Daily Report from the Gyimah Promotions promoted show at Jersey City Alboni, Jersey City,  taking place on 11/05/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the USA-Florida Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are William Shirah (11 - 4 - 3) who hails from Miami, USA and John Shortt(4 - 5 - 3) from Miami, USA.  Shirah weighed in at 130 pounds, while Shortt weighed in at 129 pounds.  
The referee tonight is George Scripture, and the three ringside judges are Phil Philp, Jack Apted and John Kippen.  

Round 1: 

Shirah tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a jab to his opponents body.
