Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at Boardwalk Hall, Atlantic City,  taking place on 24/05/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the WRBO Intercontinental Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on DAZN, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Spengler Gericke (17(12) - 3(1)) who hails from Wiesbaden, Germany and Ali Salim(13 - 3(3) - 1) from Ipoh, Malaysia.  Gericke weighed in at 147 pounds, while Salim weighed in at 146 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Cody Normand, and the three ringside judges are Robert Dalton, Cody Normand and Lee Bowell.  

Round 1: 

Salim gets on the inside and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.

Salim steps inside and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Gericke digs in a left hook to Salim's liver.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Gericke dabs at his face checking for damage.
