Clint Maxwell vs Ian Scott

Boxing Daily Report from the RJM Boxing promoted show at RJM Gym, Cambridge,  taking place on 07/04/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Clint Maxwell (6 - 0 - 1) who hails from London, UK and Ian Scott(1 - 0 - 1) from London, UK.  Both Maxwell and Scott weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ewan Musto, and the three ringside judges are Oscar Madden, Gavin McAffee and Paul McCowen.  

Round 1: 

Maxwell hits home with a cross.  
Maxwell feints a cross, and then finds the target with a jab.  
Scott walks Maxwell down, trapping him in the corner.  Maxwell lands a jab.  
Maxwell tries to keep the action at long range and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Maxwell steps away from his opponent.  Maxwell contemptuously drops his hands, trying to provoke his opponent.  Scott lands a cross.  Scott tries to land a jab, but Maxwell slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Maxwell switches the action to the outside and is on target with an overhand right.  
Scott lands a cross.  
Maxwell is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Scott drops his hands, and waves his opponent in.  Maxwell connects with a solid overhand right.  
Maxwell is looking to keep his distance and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Maxwell sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a jab.  
Scott attempts to land a cross, but Maxwell blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Scott's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Scott's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.

Maxwell pivots to the side of his opponent.  Scott attempts to land a cross, but Maxwell sidesteps and counters with a stinging left uppercut.  
Scott is looking to close the distance and walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  Maxwell lands a left hook.  
Scott advances into close range.  Maxwell is on target with a right uppercut.
