Alejandro Cantero vs Jose Matos

Boxing Daily Report from the Aqua Marines Promotions promoted show at Coliseo Guillermo Angulo, Carolina,  taking place on 02/05/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Puerto Rico Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Alejandro Cantero (5 - 2) who hails from Bayamon, Puerto Rico and Jose Matos(10 - 1) from San Juan, Puerto Rico.  Both Cantero and Matos weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Manny Machin, and the three ringside judges are Diego Villasenor, Isidro Razon and Joaquin Arena.
