Tajo Rubiano vs Xaverius Abuyen

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Philippines-Laguna promoted show at Santa Rosa Tanglao, Santa Rosa,  taking place on 28/04/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Philippines-Laguna Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on IBC, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Tajo Rubiano (17 - 0) who hails from San Pedro, Philippines and Xaverius Abuyen(14 - 2) from Cabuyao, Philippines.  Both Rubiano and Abuyen weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Miguel Nieto, and the three ringside judges are Santiago Oyola, Orlando Arrendondo and Olindo Suguitan.
