Abdul Wassan vs Azam Pervez

Boxing Daily Report from the Rooq Promotions promoted show at Berjaya Convention Centre, Johor Bahru,  taking place on 25/05/2025:

Clearly Rooq Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Malaysia-Johor Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Abdul Wassan (12 - 1) who hails from Johor Bahru, Malaysia and Azam Pervez(8 - 6(1)) from Johor Bahru, Malaysia.  Wassan weighed in at 107 pounds and 7 ounces, while Pervez weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gazi Shariff, and the three ringside judges are Haaris Gaber, Obaid Diab and Haaris Gaber.  

Round 1:
