Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Sunshine Coast Stadium, Sunshine Coast,  taking place on 24/05/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Sam Axtell (13 - 0 - 1) who hails from Melbourne, Australia and Chung Liew(14 - 2) from Beijing, China.  Both Axtell and Liew weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Corey Pait, and the three ringside judges are Mel Culp, Billy Pryce and Barry Forbes.
