Lazar Kuliyev vs Javad Nahas

Boxing Daily Report from the Akafia Promotions promoted show at Igor Ghaksylyckow Gym, Dushanbe,  taking place on 01/05/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Tajikistan Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Varzish TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Lazar Kuliyev (15 - 4) who hails from Khujand, Tajikistan and Javad Nahas(11 - 5(1) - 1) from Dushanbe, Tajikistan.  Kuliyev weighed in at 135 pounds, while Nahas weighed in at 134 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Vaqif Aslam, and the three ringside judges are Boris Abildaev, Qiyas Abutalybov and Sarvan Rizaev.
