Ricky Ellis vs Oscar Perkins

Boxing Daily Report from the Spinger Boxing Club promoted show at Dallas Bertram, Dallas,  taking place on 29/04/2025:

Clearly Spinger Boxing Club have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Ricky Ellis (5 - 0) who hails from Las Vegas, USA and Oscar Perkins(3 - 1 - 1) from Garden Grove, USA.  Ellis weighed in at 111 pounds and 13 ounces, while Perkins weighed in at 111 pounds and 4 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Stuart Ferrera, and the three ringside judges are Harry Burwick, Chris Suit and Rob Greenshields.  

Round 1: 

Perkins manouvers Ellis onto the ropes.  Perkins pivots from in front of his opponent.  Ellis attempts to land a jab, but Perkins sidesteps and counters with a left hook.
