Ozgur Egilmez vs Gulbahar Akar

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Turkey-Istanbul promoted show at Istanbul Shakir, Istanbul,  taking place on 02/05/2025:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Turkey Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on NTV Spor, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ozgur Egilmez (14 - 3 - 1) who hails from Istanbul, Turkey and Gulbahar Akar(12 - 4 - 1) from Istanbul, Turkey.  Egilmez weighed in at 122 pounds, while Akar weighed in at 121 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ahmet Ozbilen, and the three ringside judges are Suleiman Sarcoglu, Cagatay Akbulut and Mehmed Akin.
