Gervasio Peralta vs Rafael Cabanas

Boxing Daily Report from the Joram Promotions promoted show at Montevideo Yepes, Montevideo,  taking place on 02/05/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Uruguay-Montevideo Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gervasio Peralta (14 - 1) who hails from Montevideo, Uruguay and Rafael Cabanas(8(1) - 2) from Montevideo, Uruguay.  Peralta weighed in at 147 pounds, while Cabanas weighed in at 146 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Juan Jacinto, and the three ringside judges are Rodrigo Bacallao, Ryo Canedo and Jair Vilchis.
