Malcolm Ryan vs Peter Ellis

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Wisconsin promoted show at Jamie Lessels Gym, Madison,  taking place on 02/05/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Wisconsin Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Malcolm Ryan (2 - 5(1)) who hails from Madison, USA and Peter Ellis(10 - 0) from Milwaukee, USA.  Both Ryan and Ellis weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Spencer MacGuire, and the three ringside judges are Gareth Prichard, Theo Gwenn and Gareth Prichard.  

Round 1: 

Ellis advances into close range and lands a right uppercut, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body.  
Ellis gets on the inside and manages to force Ryan onto the ropes.  Ryan hits home with a left hook.  Ellis holds on to his opponent.  Ellis is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Ellis lands two left uppercuts followed by a right hook to his opponents head.

Ellis advances into close range.  Ellis quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a right uppercut.  
Ellis digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  Ellis ties up his opponent.  The ref breaks Ellis's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Ryan steps away from his opponent and is on target with an overhand right.
