Faraji Mulikita vs Veltry Kabaso

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Zambia-Copperbelt promoted show at Trory Badat Gym, Ndola,  taking place on 03/05/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Zambia-Copperbelt Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Faraji Mulikita (4 - 5 - 3) who hails from Ndola, Zambia and Veltry Kabaso(4 - 10 - 2) from Kitwe, Zambia.  Mulikita weighed in at 146 pounds and 14 ounces, while Kabaso weighed in at 145 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Kwamin Ilunga, and the three ringside judges are Udenwa Chizyuka, Tavon Muyunda and Oringo Namomba.

Kabaso feints a cross, but Mulikita ignores the feint and lands with a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Kabaso walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Kabaso throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Mulikita tries to land a jab, but Kabaso sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Mulikita pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Kabaso.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.
