Vasili Alakbarov vs Husein Amirbekov

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Uzbekistan-Samarqand promoted show at Haji Garakhanov Gym, Samarqand,  taking place on 04/05/2025:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Uzbekistan Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Uzbek Sport, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Vasili Alakbarov (16(3) - 1) who hails from Samarqand, Uzbekistan and Husein Amirbekov(15 - 3(1) - 1) from Namangan, Uzbekistan.  Both Alakbarov and Amirbekov weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Aleksei Gadzhibabekov, and the three ringside judges are Boris Amirbeyov, Seyfulla Aliev and Vazeh Rahim.
