Boxing Daily Report from the AI Latvia-Riga promoted show at Riga Sipols, Riga,  taking place on 03/05/2025:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Latvia Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Viasat Sport Baltic, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Gennady Zakis (5 - 1 - 1) who hails from Riga, Latvia and Goga Pirktins(4 - 3 - 2) from Riga, Latvia.  Zakis weighed in at 160 pounds, while Pirktins weighed in at 159 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Arseni Sausaismarcis, and the three ringside judges are Viktor Gargailis, Pyotr Rutitis and Yulian Smilduzieds.
