Mason Halladay vs Jonathan Dunmore

Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Auckland promoted show at Waitakere Puru, Waitakere,  taking place on 06/05/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the New Zealand-Auckland Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Prime, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mason Halladay (8 - 3 - 5) who hails from Waitakere, New Zealand and Jonathan Dunmore(7 - 6 - 4) from Auckland, New Zealand.  Both Halladay and Dunmore weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Cole Hathorn, and the three ringside judges are James Oakley, Ian Skene and Matthew Chisholm.  

Round 1: 

Halladay closes the distance.  Dunmore pivots to the side of his opponent andAs the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Dunmore dabs at his face checking for damage.
