Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Ariake Coliseum, Tokyo,  taking place on 07/06/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the East Asian Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV Tokyo, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Michi Sakamoto (9 - 3) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Chen Owyang(13 - 4) from Yichang, China.  Both Sakamoto and Owyang weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Eiji Mizuno, and the three ringside judges are Yuji Mihara, Hajime Amari and Kaede Tsuchida.
