Gregory Maupassant vs Max Elrick

Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at Montreal's Gym, Montreal,  taking place on 03/05/2025:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Gregory Maupassant (2 - 0) who hails from Nice, France and Max Elrick(0 - 2 - 1) from Montreal, Canada.  Both Maupassant and Elrick weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Briant Sarraute, and the three ringside judges are Michael Oliver, Mark Mostyn and James Dunlap.

Maupassant gets on the inside and manouvers Elrick into the corner.  Maupassant lands a left hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a right hook to the body.  
Elrick wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Maupassant dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Elrick is looking to keep his distance and is on target with an overhand left.  
Maupassant lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  He then lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Maupassant drives a left hook into Elrick's body.

Maupassant gets on the inside.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Elrick.  That has caused minor damage to the nose.
