Timofei Starasts vs Gerd Ziebosch

Boxing Daily Report from the Latvia Boxing promoted show at Igor Allikas Gym, Riga,  taking place on 07/06/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Timofei Starasts (9 - 1 - 1 - 1(NC)) who hails from Riga, Latvia and Gerd Ziebosch(4 - 13 - 2) from Antwerp, Belgium.  Starasts weighed in at 167 pounds and 7 ounces, while Ziebosch weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Valeri Akitis, and the three ringside judges are Vikenti Vecvanags, Mikhail Cers and Yulian Smilduzieds.  

Round 1: 

Starasts closes the distance.  Ziebosch sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Starasts lands a right uppercut followed by  two left hooks to his opponents head.  Starasts clinches his opponent.  Ziebosch leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Starasts pushes his forearm into Ziebosch's face.  The ref breaks Starasts's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Starasts is looking to close the distance and lands a firm right hook.  Starasts ties up his opponent.  Starasts is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Starasts manages to force Ziebosch onto the ropes.  Starasts lands a right hook.  Starasts ties up his opponent.  Starasts leans on his opponent using all his weight. As they grapple, Starasts pushes his forearm into Ziebosch's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Starasts.  
Starasts steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Ziebosch is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents body.
