Euan Accam vs Henry Lamptey

Boxing Daily Report from the African Fusion promoted show at Napoleon Boxing Complex, Accra,  taking place on 30/04/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Euan Accam (2 - 0) who hails from Achiaman, Ghana and Henry Lamptey(10 - 5 - 4) from Kumasi, Ghana.  Both Accam and Lamptey weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is James Adade, and the three ringside judges are Louis Kugblenu, Roshaun Adu and Neil Sribor.  

Round 1: 

Accam lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Lamptey switches the action to the outside and is on target with a jab.  Lamptey throws an overhand left, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Lamptey tries to step out of his opponents range.  Accam quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a jab to the head followed by a cross to the body.  
Accam is on target with a cross.  
Accam gets on the inside and manouvers Lamptey onto the ropes.  Accam pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Accam tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Accam lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Accam lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Accam gets on the inside and is on target with a right hook to Lamptey's body.  
Lamptey lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Accam lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Accam sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a cross.  
Accam is on target with a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Lamptey finds the target with a jab.  
Accam gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Lamptey's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Lamptey's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.

Accam quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Accam steps inside and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Lamptey tries to step out of his opponents range and attempts to land a jab, but Accam dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
As Lamptey tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Accam has taken some damage there.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Lamptey hits home with a right hook.  
Accam closes the distance.  As Lamptey tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Accam dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Accam is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Accam gets on the inside and lands a left hook, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body.

Accam manages to force Lamptey onto the ropes.  Accam lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Accam lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Accam lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Lamptey is on target with a left hook.  
Accam is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a right uppercut to the head.  
Lamptey steps to the outside and throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.
