Boxing Daily Report from the Nkansah Promotions promoted show at Geoff Petrie Gym, Independence,  taking place on 09/05/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Missouri Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are David Higgins (3 - 0) who hails from St. Louis, USA and Michael Teare(5 - 1) from Kansas City, USA.  Both Higgins and Teare weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Antwan Dougherty, and the three ringside judges are George Mulloy, Dom Quinn and Phil Ekberg.
