Georges Banckaert vs Aleksei Markin

Boxing Daily Report from the Mr. Vicious promoted show at RDS Arena, Dublin,  taking place on 23/05/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the WRBC Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on RET One, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Georges Banckaert (19(15) - 0) who hails from Rotterdam, Netherlands and Aleksei Markin(14(5) - 3(2) - 3) from Kryvyi Rih, Ukraine.  Banckaert weighed in at 229 pounds and 5 ounces, while Markin weighed in at 219 pounds and 3 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Joshua Higgins, and the three ringside judges are Nathan Fitzgerald, Joshua MacCarthy and Conor Whalen.
