Vaqif Ayan vs Amjad Salame

Boxing Daily Report from the AI UAE-Ash Shariqah promoted show at Sharjah Kahveci, Sharjah,  taking place on 13/05/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the West Asian Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Abu Dhabi Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Vaqif Ayan (17(2) - 1) who hails from Toshkent, Uzbekistan and Amjad Salame(13 - 0) from Sharjah, UAE.  Both Ayan and Salame weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kashif Bettar, and the three ringside judges are Saad Emami, Malik Bakir and Faisal Alahmar.
