Antonio Capetillo vs Rodrigo De Anda

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Puerto Rico-Bayamon promoted show at Bayamon Gomez, Bayamon,  taking place on 13/05/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Puerto Rico Sports Network, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Antonio Capetillo (0 - 0) who hails from Acapulco, Mexico and Rodrigo De Anda(0 - 2 - 1) from Bayamon, Puerto Rico.  Both Capetillo and De Anda weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Macario Armenta, and the three ringside judges are Ramirez Fontan, Rico Balcazar and Venacio Toscano.  

Round 1: 

Capetillo gets on the inside and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Capetillo pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Capetillo pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.

De Anda throws a right uppercut, but Capetillo holds on to his opponent.  Capetillo is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Capetillo is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Capetillo.  
As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as De Anda dabs at his face checking for damage.
