Kaede Okabe vs Huang-fu Ge

Boxing Daily Report from the Hennessy Boxing promoted show at Jinan Olympic Sports Center Tennis Hall, Jinan,  taking place on 17/05/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the East Asian Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Starsports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Kaede Okabe (9 - 7) who hails from Asahikawa, Japan and Huang-fu Ge(12(2) - 6(2)) from Zigong, China.  Okabe weighed in at 115 pounds, while Ge weighed in at 114 pounds And 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Hui-chao Xiong, and the three ringside judges are Xin Chi, Lee Jing and Niao-ka Go.  

Round 1: 

Ge advances into close range and digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.

Ge EXPLODES a nasty left hook into his opponents face.  DOWN GOES OKABE!  HE IS UNABLE TO GET UP BEFORE THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Ge!
