Boxing Daily Report from the AI Honduras-Cortes promoted show at Gimnasio Las Palma, San Pedro Sula,  taking place on 15/05/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Central American Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Todo Deportes TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ovidio Geronimo (12 - 3) who hails from Tegucigalpa, Honduras and Selestino Placido(12(8) - 2) from Choloma, Honduras.  Both Geronimo and Placido weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Venacio Manzanares, and the three ringside judges are Roman Orduna, Carlos Adan and Gonzalo Enriquez.
