Carlos Almeda vs Cisco Paredes

Boxing Daily Report from the Ankomah Promotions promoted show at Brasilia Louro, Brasilia,  taking place on 15/05/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Brazil-Distrito Federal Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV Esporte Interativo, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Carlos Almeda (13 - 0 - 1) who hails from Brasilia, Brazil and Cisco Paredes(6 - 4 - 4) from Brasilia, Brazil.  Almeda weighed in at 167 pounds and 13 ounces, while Paredes weighed in at 167 pounds and 2 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Frisco Pires, and the three ringside judges are Antonio Mira, Reyes Raso and Alejandro Moises.
