Carlos Covarrubias vs Juan Lama

Boxing Daily Report from the Tuffuor Promotions promoted show at Palmira Devera, Palmira,  taking place on 16/05/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Colombia Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on CARACOL, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Carlos Covarrubias (9 - 10 - 2) who hails from Bogota, Colombia and Juan Lama(11 - 4) from Palmira, Colombia.  Both Covarrubias and Lama weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Eduardo Toscano, and the three ringside judges are Carlos Arabia, Juan Pollino and Joaquin Grimaldo.  

Round 1: 

Lama advances into close range and lands a right hook.
