Vicente Fonseca vs Marjun Amescua

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Colombia-Distrito Capital promoted show at Sancho Daniel Gym, Bogota,  taking place on 16/05/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Colombia-Distrito Capital Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Vicente Fonseca (7 - 3 - 4) who hails from Bogota, Colombia and Marjun Amescua(5 - 5 - 4) from Bogota, Colombia.  Fonseca weighed in at 115 pounds, while Amescua weighed in at 114 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Joaquin Magana, and the three ringside judges are Manny Soza, Alfonso Limones and Angel Salmeron.  

Round 1: 

Fonseca steps inside.  Amescua pivots to the side of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.
