Boxing Daily Report from the AI Costa Rica-San Jose promoted show at San Jose Rivera, San Jose,  taking place on 16/05/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Costa Rica-San Jose Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Repretel Channel 11, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alvino Armijo (11(1) - 4 - 1) who hails from San Jose, Costa Rica and Angel Benavides(3 - 0 - 1) from San Jose, Costa Rica.  Armijo weighed in at 146 pounds and 5 ounces, while Benavides weighed in at 147 pounds.
