Montague Rubel vs Ray Gide

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Cameroon-Littoral promoted show at Douala Libiih, Douala,  taking place on 17/05/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Cameroon-Littoral Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on CRTV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Montague Rubel (9 - 5 - 5) who hails from Douala, Cameroon and Ray Gide(5 - 7 - 1) from Douala, Cameroon.  Rubel weighed in at 174 pounds and 12 ounces, while Gide weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Varden Michel, and the three ringside judges are Valentin Tawamba, Telford Sima and Nicolas Paquin.
