Jose Almanzar vs Iago Ovalles

Boxing Daily Report from the Manjimela Promotions promoted show at Puebla Jaquez, Puebla,  taking place on 28/05/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Mexico-Nuevo Leon Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jose Almanzar (8 - 5 - 2) who hails from Ciudad Apodaca, Mexico and Iago Ovalles(3 - 3 - 4) from Monterrey, Mexico.  Both Almanzar and Ovalles weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Larenzo Cerro, and the three ringside judges are Miguel Campoverde, Juan Lua and Urvano Infante.
