Mel Kidd vs Rob Alake

Boxing Daily Report from the RJM Boxing promoted show at Hotel Savano, Maroua,  taking place on 28/04/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mel Kidd (8 - 3(1)) who hails from Sheffield, UK and Rob Alake(0 - 9 - 3) from Kano, Nigeria.  Kidd weighed in at 239 pounds and 3 ounces, while Alake weighed in at 226 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Odilon Obekop, and the three ringside judges are Wyatt Nkoulou, Fabron Ndumu and Granville Norment.
