Boxing Daily Report from the Melvin Grayshock Promotions promoted show at Four Points Sheraton Hotel, San Diego,  taking place on 01/05/2025:

Clearly Melvin Grayshock Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Kieran Kirkwood (4 - 0) who hails from Mobile, USA and Bruce Buie(2 - 0) from Los Angeles, USA.  Both Kirkwood and Buie weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Adam Moreno, and the three ringside judges are Noah Denoon, Dave Carrasco and Bradley Fortun.  

Round 1: 

Kirkwood lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Kirkwood clinches his opponent.  Kirkwood pushes his forearm into Buie's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Buie pivots to the side of his opponent.  Kirkwood lands a right hook.  
Kirkwood closes the distance and throws a left uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps.  Kirkwood clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Kirkwood pushes his forearm into Buie's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Kirkwood.

Kirkwood lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Kirkwood steps inside and connects with a left hook.
