Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Laushan Velodrome, Beijing,  taking place on 10/05/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Starsports, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Wang Hsiang (2 - 0) who hails from Changchun, China and Dewei Liem(4 - 2 - 4) from Changsha, China.  Both Hsiang and Liem weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Huang-fu Yue, and the three ringside judges are Ye Yuen, Quon Shu and Ye Yuen.  

Round 1: 

Hsiang switches the action to the outside.  Hsiang circles his opponent with a low guard, waiting for his opponent to attack.  Liem attempts to land a jab, but Hsiang slips the shot and counters with a firm cross.

Hsiang quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a jab to Liem's body.
