Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Kanagawa promoted show at Kawasaki Ishikawa, Kawasaki,  taking place on 23/05/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Japan-Kanagawa Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky-A Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Nao Okamoto (6 - 0) who hails from Yokohama, Japan and Yasushi Iwasaki(15 - 2 - 2) from Yokohama, Japan.  Okamoto weighed in at 140 pounds, while Iwasaki weighed in at 139 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Aki Hamada, and the three ringside judges are Yuji Nishimura, Yasushi Aoki and Hiro Murano.
