Raiden Nakanishi vs Hisao Morishige

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Osaka promoted show at Hitoshi Ito Gym, Osaka,  taking place on 23/05/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Osaka Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Raiden Nakanishi (8 - 4 - 1) who hails from Toyonaka, Japan and Hisao Morishige(7 - 3 - 2) from Osaka, Japan.  Both Nakanishi and Morishige weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Daiki Aoki, and the three ringside judges are Kenji Tamura, Daiki Aoki and Kazuhiko Matsunaga.  

Round 1: 

Morishige hits home with a right hook.  
Nakanishi pivots from in front of his opponent.  Morishige connects with a cross.  
Morishige lands a right hook.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Morishige dabs at his face checking for damage.  Morishige has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.  
Nakanishi sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Nakanishi attempts to land a right hook, but Morishige slips the shot and counters with a right hook.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Nakanishi dabs at his face checking for damage.  Nakanishi has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused minor damage to the nose.
