Dai Kawashima vs Takeo Arakawa

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Saitama promoted show at Ace Boxing Gym, Saitama,  taking place on 23/05/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Saitama Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dai Kawashima (4 - 9 - 2) who hails from Tokorozawa, Japan and Takeo Arakawa(6 - 5 - 3) from Saitama, Japan.  Kawashima weighed in at 115 pounds, while Arakawa weighed in at 114 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Naoki Tengan, and the three ringside judges are Hikaru Masaki, Akira Asai and Dai Shiroma.  

Round 1: 

Kawashima switches the action to the outside.  Kawashima quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Kawashima throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Arakawa tries to land a left uppercut, but Kawashima slips the shot and counters with a right hook.
