Lazar Abyckckassym vs Waqar Sacieff

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kazakhstan-Karagandy promoted show at Karagandy Kairimoff, Karagandy,  taking place on 24/05/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Kazakhstan-Karagandy Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KTK, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Lazar Abyckckassym (6 - 2) who hails from Karagandy, Kazakhstan and Waqar Sacieff(2 - 5 - 3) from Karagandy, Kazakhstan.  Both Abyckckassym and Sacieff weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hassan Ismail, and the three ringside judges are Gennady Oralow, Zernebog Tolegan and Teymurchin Carataeff.
