Lavaughn Angwenyi vs Alastair Mbarire

Boxing Daily Report from the Ndovi Promotions promoted show at Nairobi Kaikai, Nairobi,  taking place on 24/05/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Kenya-Nairobi Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KTV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Lavaughn Angwenyi (10 - 2) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Alastair Mbarire(9 - 5(1)) from Nairobi, Kenya.  Angwenyi weighed in at 154 pounds, while Mbarire weighed in at 153 pounds And 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Noah Odoyo, and the three ringside judges are Richie Bitok, Leon Cassam and Rex Odhieng.
