Michael Mwangangi vs Lloyd Abol

Boxing Daily Report from the Konga Promotions promoted show at Haaris Haque Gym, Nairobi,  taking place on 24/05/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya-Nairobi Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Michael Mwangangi (8 - 5 - 1) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Lloyd Abol(11 - 2) from Nairobi, Kenya.  Both Mwangangi and Abol weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kyrone Koimbori, and the three ringside judges are Joe Mwirichia, Sam Waiyaki and Kashif Haque.  

Round 1: 

Mwangangi attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action and gives Abol time to recover.
