Leighton Lusher vs Richard Catherwood

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Gold Gym, Brisbane,  taking place on 10/05/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Leighton Lusher (6 - 0) who hails from Manukau, New Zealand and Richard Catherwood(15 - 5 - 2) from Brisbane, Australia.  Both Lusher and Catherwood weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Barry Forbes, and the three ringside judges are Ian Corrie, Dave Evan and Giorgio Lombardo.
