Leon Stenhouse vs John Cron

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Jamaica-Kingston promoted show at Kingston Clardy, Kingston,  taking place on 23/05/2025:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Jamaica Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SportsMax, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Leon Stenhouse (9 - 6 - 2) who hails from Kingston, Jamaica and John Cron(11 - 3 - 4) from Kingston, Jamaica.  Both Stenhouse and Cron weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rob Tedford, and the three ringside judges are Matthew Christopher, Mark Spotswood and Oliver Hedley.  

Round 1: 

Cron closes the distance.  Stenhouse pivots to the right of his opponent andStenhouse wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Cron dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Stenhouse is looking to keep his distance and hits home with a cross.  
Cron quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Cron attempts to land a jab, but Stenhouse sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Cron gets on the inside.  Stenhouse lands a right hook.
