Alfonso Maddry vs Ali Akel

Boxing Daily Report from the Aqua Marines Promotions promoted show at Coliseo Roberto Clemente, San Juan,  taking place on 23/05/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the WRBA Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Alfonso Maddry (13(6) - 4(3)) who hails from Puebla, Mexico and Ali Akel(15 - 2(1) - 1) from Taif, Saudi Arabia.  Maddry weighed in at 117 pounds and 12 ounces, while Akel weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Pancho Fuerte, and the three ringside judges are Neper Hidalgo, Xaverius Rueda and Alejandro Mayor.
