Ian Coleman vs John Kipe

Boxing Daily Report from the Big Bang Promotions promoted show at Big Gym, London,  taking place on 28/05/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Ian Coleman (5(1) - 0) who hails from Liverpool, UK and John Kipe(0 - 0 - 1) from Colchester, UK.  Coleman weighed in at 140 pounds, while Kipe weighed in at 139 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Justin Dalton, and the three ringside judges are Gus Cruguet, Owen Pugh and James Antonelli.  

Round 1: 

Coleman is looking to close the distance and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Coleman gets on the inside and throws a left hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Coleman clinches his opponent.  Coleman pushes his forearm into Kipe's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Coleman gets on the inside and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Coleman voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Kipe steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.  
Coleman closes the distance.  Kipe throws a right uppercut, but Coleman clinches his opponent.  Kipe uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Coleman's kidney. 
Coleman is on target with a firm right uppercut to Kipe's ribcage.  
Coleman lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Coleman ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Coleman pushes his forearm into Kipe's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Coleman lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Coleman steps inside.  Kipe throws a left hook, but Coleman clinches his opponent.  Coleman pushes his forearm into Kipe's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Coleman to stop fouling.  
Coleman lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Coleman throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook to Coleman's body.  
Coleman hits home with a cross.  
Kipe closes the distance.  Coleman is on target with a left hook to Kipe's body.  Coleman clinches his opponent.  Coleman hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. 
Coleman lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a left uppercut to the body.  
Coleman advances into close range and is on target with a left hook.  
Coleman lands three consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head.  
Coleman gets on the inside and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Coleman lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents head.

Coleman is on target with a sharp left hook to Kipe's ribs.  Coleman holds on to his opponent.  Coleman tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Kipe's kidney.

Kipe advances into close range.  Coleman throws a right hook, but his opponent steps away from the punch.  Coleman holds on to his opponent.  Kipe is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Kipe to stop fouling.  
Coleman digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  Coleman tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Kipe throws a left uppercut, but Coleman clinches his opponent.  Coleman hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. 
Kipe throws a right hook, but Coleman ties up his opponent.  Coleman leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Coleman connects with a right hook.  
Coleman lands with a stiff jab.  
Coleman is looking to close the distance and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Kipe's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Kipe's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.

Kipe throws a right hook, but Coleman ties up his opponent.  Coleman is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Kipe attempts to land a left hook, but Coleman blocks the shot and counters with a stinging right uppercut.  
Coleman lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Kipe sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Kipe throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
Coleman lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Coleman attempts to land a right uppercut, but Kipe blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Coleman is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Kipe gets on the inside.  Kipe sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Coleman lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Coleman dabs at his face checking for damage.

Coleman lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Coleman senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Kipe and just needs the right shot.  Coleman lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND SENDS KIPE SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  
Coleman whips in a mean left hook to Kipe's body.  KIPE IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 4.  Kipe now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Coleman advances into close range and lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Coleman lands a right hook, right uppercut and a left hook to his opponents head.  
Coleman closes the distance and lands two left hook's to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Coleman lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Coleman lands a left uppercut to the head, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Kipe almost instantly recovers. 
Coleman lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND KIPE IS DOWN!  The ref does not even bother with the count...he's seen enough!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Coleman!
